Over the past few weeks my dahlias have been opening up and they have inspired me to make many different kinds of arrangements. I just love to see the diverse shapes and colours from a variety of species that I grow. On top of that, many of the plants have grown an abundance of heads that I can use! Dahlias are probably among my favourite flowers, maybe next to my roses. They are a widely admired cut flower, they are super easy to grow and have a vase-life of roughly 5-7 days. There are a range of dahlias I grow in my garden: single-flowered, decorative, cactus, pompom, waterlily and finally stellar. All of which I adore and have given me so much inspiration.

Today I thought I would show you an arrangement I created with my dahlias so you can see how I was inspired by these beauties - enjoy!
